Minimum Qualifications Education Requirement
• Associate’s degree from an automated systems and mechatronics, electrical/mechanic systems or
fluid power program.
Occupational Experience Requirement
• Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in automated
systems, mechatronics, electrical/mechanic, or fluid power.
Recency Requirement
• One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date
of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual
has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the
credential field within the last five years.
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated knowledge of Robotics, PLC, Electrical, and Pneumatic Systems.
• Ability to provide leadership in curriculum development and academic assessment
activities.
• Commitment to departmental participation, vision, and planning.
• Bilingual/Multilingual fluent in Spanish, Somali, Karen, Anuak, Nuer, or other languages that
reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.
• Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
