Responsible Gun Ownership

Join Owatonna Y-Pro for a new educational opportunity, Responsible Gun Ownership, taught by Adam Hamburg.  Adam has an extensive background in law enforcement and firearms training and will help create a great foundation for anyone looking to increase their knowledge and awareness around firearms.  The class will cover several topics including basic firearms training, best gun safety practices when handling a firearm, self-awareness for responsible gun ownership, and understanding various firearm types.  There will also be a live fire demonstration, where all attendees will be able to participate.  Handguns and ammunition will be provided, but if you currently own a handgun you would like to bring for the live fire portion of the class you are welcome to do so.  Safety glasses and hearing protection will be require for the live fire portion of the class, and will be provided if you do not already have them.  If you have any questions about the class prior to signing up, you can reach out to Y-Pro Committee Member Taylor Herman, 507-848-8139.
