The 24th Annual recipient of the Ted G. Ringhofer Memorial Scholarship is Jenna Gleason.  Jenna is the daughter of Joey & Debby Gleason and is planning on majoring in Nursing. Jenna was awarded  a $1,000 scholarship given by North Risk Partners/TPS Insurance Agency and the OACCT Ambassadors on May 6th - Congratulations!

This $1,000 annual scholarship is given in partnership by North Risk Partners/TPS Insurance Agency and the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Ambassadors in honor and memory of Ted G. Ringhofer who died of cancer in 1997.  Ted was a graduate of OHS and while in school, Ted was in wresting, President of the Student Council, worked on homecoming floats and was involved in many other activities.  Ted was President of the Owatonna Chamber of Commerce for over 29 years and on the City Council for 24 years.  Ted's respect for our community can be seen in his many years of dedication and volunteer work.
