Few other items today as we’re working through this crisis:
- Minnesota’s Emergency loans for businesses closed by the governor (bar/restaurant/salons) are starting to be processed. These are up to 50% forgivable.
- Reminder from the Department of Labor-school age kids working hour restrictions are in place with distance learning.
- We are working with chambers around the state to request an extension on property tax payments.
- Our new push ‘Stronger Together’ ‘Tough Times don’t last, a Tough Community Does’ where we are highlighting all the good being done to help each other out.
- VisitOwatonna in partnership with Owatonna parks & Rec’s newest promotion is “Where Are We In Owatonna” find the picture posted on VisitOwatonna social media, take a photo by that item and post it on our page-we’ll be giving away a hammock!
- Our team is making calls out to our businesses to find out your needs, we’re taking calls and being proactive in both information and promotions. Thanks to our chamber staff!
- Use Owatonna.org-the resource page we’ve built is really great.
