Community Bank Owatonna - Leadership in banking

One bank with one purpose. That is Community Bank Owatonna, and their sole purpose is to serve you – the Owatonna community! Their mission is to create an environment that nurtures personal relationships, fosters quality service, and welcomes change and innovation. As the only locally owned and independently operated bank in the community, Community Bank Owatonna is one bank with infinite possibilities.

Community Bank Owatonna was founded in 2002 by a group of local bankers and business leaders who wanted to bring needed changes to Owatonna’s banking landscape. They had the foresight to imagine the impact of a true community bank, where deposit dollars would be reinvested in Owatonna to benefit the local economy. On July 7, 2003, the directors, officers, and staff opened the doors of the newly constructed Community Bank Owatonna and welcomed the community to experience the difference of a true community bank. Today, Community Bank Owatonna has grown to more than $70 million in assets, while remaining solely focused on the mission created by its founders nearly 20 years ago. As the bank’s customers have succeeded, the bank has also succeeded, and as a result, today is well-positioned for additional growth and prosperity.
The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly brought along many concerns for local business owners and individuals. Community Bank Owatonna recognizes this and is committed to helping you work through your financial situation. Whether it is receiving stimulus checks, SBA loans, or working through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), Community Bank Owatonna has a knowledgeable staff with years of financial experience who are ready to serve you.

Community Bank Owatonna is committed to creating a positive future for Owatonna and the surrounding area. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the bank originated SBA PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loans to more than 80 businesses in the community totaling over $3.5 million. The bank is also currently participating in the 2021 second round of PPP funding.  Community Bank Owatonna was also involved in the Jumpstart
Owatonna initiative to provide relief to businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. They donated $1,500 to the program and their staff members worked hard to promote the initiative throughout Owatonna.

You can learn more about Community Bank Owatonna by visiting their website at www.cbowatonna.com or calling them during normal business hours at (507) 455-2265. Their office is located at 640 Bridge Street on the west side of Owatonna.
