For 40 years Cindy Labathe has made a business out of making you look good in your clothes.  The owner and founder of Cindy’s Tailoring, Alterations & Dry Cleaning, Cindy has run her business here since 1979 but hadn't had a challenge like the Covid-19 Pandemic until now.

Like she's always done, Cindy kept working.  Not only has her business remained open during the pandemic, Cindy has donated over 100 hours of her time in helping assemble the shields for the Shields of Steele program. Cindy developed and installed the strap that holds the shield in place, now over 4100 shields have been delivered to medical professionals across the area.  Cindy has also made over 50 surgical gowns for a local dentist and has made surgical caps for another dentist, not to mention countless cloth masks for local businesses.
