With over 33 years in Owatonna, The Retrofit Companies, Inc.(TRC) has evolved from our origins in the Business Incubator to providing Electrical and Environmental solutions for businesses, school districts, municipalities, and organizations across the U.S.
Getting our start doing lighting retrofits, we quickly built a reputation for lighting projects. We have since evolved into much more. We still do lighting, but are also a full-service electrical contractor doing construction and renovation projects and commercial electrical service, you might hear us refer to this division as, Retrofit Electric.
We have a second division, we refer to as, Retrofit Environmental. This is the division of our company that does the community E-waste and recycling events. We also help our customers understand regulated waste rules and requirements, and guide them in proper recycling and disposal of E-waste, batteries, bulbs; all the way to chemical and paint waste, even radioactive waste!
