Regional Sales Manager

What you will be doing:

  • Pursuing and cultivating long term customer relationships to develop sales opportunities.
  • Applying knowledge of product and application, along with appropriate technical skills to provide a solution that meets or exceeds the customer’s needs and expectations.
  • Engaging in the marketplace to understand the competitive landscape and opportunities.
  • Providing input and leadership to all areas of the business.
  • Developing new and maintaining present direct accounts, national accounts, and special projects.
  • Influencing product, design, and sales activities of the company.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and pursuing agreed upon projects, applications and sales opportunities.
  • Develop business relationships in the target markets.
  • Promoting outstanding customer service and positive customer relationships throughout the company.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and webinars for manufacturer representative meetings, trade organizations, and customer sites.
  • Helping our manufacturer representatives close orders and meet goals.
  • Providing CDI manufacturer representatives with the best sales service possible.
  • Reviewing final equipment proposals for technical validity and overall solution design.
  • Acquiring product expertise and monitor changes in assigned areas of specialization for markets, products, or applications.
  • Assisting in the development of sales tools.
  • Assisting in developing and refining product pricing policies, content for literature, website, catalogs and manuals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • HVAC coursework and experience is desirable.
  • A minimum of 7 years HVAC sales experience.
  • Must be able to travel frequently.
