The program is FREE and open to all members of the community.
The 1918 Flu Outbreak had world-wide effects. Millions of people around the world died from this flu, just like a plague. In the United States some cities could not keep up with burying the dead. Everyone had a friend or loved one who died from it. Perhaps the worst thing about this outbreak was that while it ended, we still 100 years later don’t know why or what particular strain of flu it was.
